What I do for a living

Besides designing your new yacht,  I work as an external consultant for boatyards and design offices.

(Note: I am always happy to consider new projects, so if you are part of these categories and think you may work with me, please don't hesitate to contact me)

Here's a brief summary of my professional background.  If you are interested in my complete Curriculum Vitae, click here.

Blubay Yachts

From 2000 to 2006 I was part of the design team at Blubay Yachts in Cannes, France
(where we created crafts such as Allures, 100' and Rafoly, 92').

Working in a young and ambitious team, designing large sailing catamarans: proposals, layouts, calculations, engineering, construction drawing, 3-d modeling...  A great experience.

Before going back to school as a "mature student" (see below)

Since 1987 I have been working in Design and engineering:
Agusta Helicopters  - 1987/1990
Avdel/Textron (automatic) Assembly Systems  - 1990/1994
Four Square/Mars - Vending Machines  - 1995/1997

My Studies

Southampton Institute, U.K. - 1997/1999
B. Eng. in Yacht and Powercraft Design

The best course available in Naval Architecture applied to leisure and small craft design.

And, a wonderful life experience.

ITIS "G. Feltrinelli", Milano  - 1981/1985

Perito Industriale Capotecnico per le Costruzioni Aeronautiche
(now if you are not Italian, try and work this one out)
